Once again the turkey was tasty and the stuffing delightful. In the past year have dined here several times and recommend the square fried fish and fried chicken. I noticed the pork chops and will give it a try on my next visit. The service and atmosphere is always excellent, and the cafeteria is always perfectly clean. “ This is the BEST lubys I’ve ever been to. And I was raised on Lubys. They have lots of folks working in the kitchen, and you can see them making the food behind the buffet. I was here for at least 30 minutes, and not once did I see any one on the staff just standing around. Everyone is working to keep the place clean and the food fresh. The flavor is perfect. Southern food tends to be bland in some people’s eyes. Lubys does a great job of making authentic southern food without adding unnecessary spices and ingredients that some restaurants overuse. Lubys is a simple, straightforward kind of place. I was very happy with how many healthy options there were! Lots of grilled fish, chicken, and fresh vegetables. Best of all, you can get a good plate of food with two sides and a drink for under 15, including tip. ”
